Strategy Card games are becoming an extremely popular genre nowadays as a lot of players are opting for games like Hearthstone and Magic: The Gathering.

Now, Ubisoft wants to deliver the genre experience to the console players and to do so, they have released Might & Magic Duel of Champions: Forgotten Wars for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

The launch was accompanied by a statement for producer on the game, Samuel Jobin:

With Might & Magic Duel of Champions: Forgotten Wars, we worked to create the best gaming experience for players familiar with the franchise and those new to Duel of Champions and collectible card games.

Forgotten Wars includes the cards and game mechanics players have come to know and love as well as unique gameplay elements only available for console players.

As of today, players on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 will be able to download Might & Magic Duel of Champions: Forgotten Wars at the price of $9.99.

This console version of the game will include 30 single player missions, 650 cards to play with, local competitive play and an online mode.

Moreover, it was revealed that console version does not include any further micro-transactions, which refrains the players to purchase any gold, competitive decks and expansions.

People who have already played the game on either PC or iOS will get adapted pretty quickly as the gameplay will feel quite similar to them.
