Tetsuya Nomura’s Reimagined Batman Looks Evil But It’s Cool

The creator of Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy designer Tetsuya Nomura has re-imagined one of the world’s greatest detective, Batman.

Designed for Square Enix’s Play Arts Kai line of action figurines, this wildest version of Batman is currently on display at San Diego Comic Con 2014.

From the looks of it, the character looks something from a cross Soul Calibur with Final Fantasy with little retouches of Kingdom Hearts; the cape has been replaced by large wings, a sharp edgy mask extending to long-red horns is in place of the helmet, and claws are shown extending from the wings.

Have a look at this newly designed Batman and share your views with us:

Square Enix has also confirmed that the figurine in the display is just a prototype of new line of Batman figurines designed by Nomura with no mention of its price or when and where it will be released.

Now that we have his interpretation of Batman which is wild yet cool, what would you like to see next? The Joker? I’m personally rooting for the Catwoman.

San Diego Comic Con runs from Jul. 24 – Jul. 27 2014. For all the latest news and happenings, make sure to keep on checking SegmentNext.
