Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Multiplayer will be Playable at Gamescom
According to a new report, the latest instalment in COD franchise, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s multiplayer mode will be available to play at this year’s Gamescom.
In a recent eSports report, Chris Puckett of MLG shared some of his first-hand experiences of playing Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare multiplayer during a trip to Sledgehammer Games’ development house in San Francisco, California.
Puckett stated that the gameplay of the forthcoming iteration is much more fluid and fast paced. Furthermore, the game tends to put a lot of stress on players’ skills than any other Call of Duty title out there.
The gameplay [of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare] is much more fluid and much faster [and] puts more emphasis on skill [than previous Call of Duty titles].
I’m more than inclined to believe it to be true since it’s not the first time we are hearing this. Last month, popular YouTube Call of Duty commentator Drift0r received a phone call from the game’s co-founder Michael Condrey who stated that the studio wanted to develop a game which will feel familiar to other Call of Duty titles, but far more fast-paced.
He also stated that they are striving hard to balance the game before launch so that it is purely based on individuals’ skills.
All things considered, if Sledgehammer Games is indeed planning on providing Gamescom attendees with a first-hand experience of the game’s multiplayer mode, it’s only a matter of time until we get to see an official multiplayer reveal.
Gamescom is scheduled to take place in Cologne, Germany on Aug. 13, 2014. As for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, it launches on Nov. 4, 2014 for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC.
