EA Confirms a New Peggle Game for Mobile by PopCap
Recently Electronic Arts held their earnings call conference where quite a lot of details were shared with interested parties and among these details they shared news about some of the upcoming ventures including a Peggle game for mobiles.
As far as the new Peggle game is concerned, the chief operating officer of Electronic Arts, Andrew Wilson announced:
A much-anticipated new Peggle game from PopCap is moving through a test period in preparation for launch, and our EA Mobile studios have four more exciting new experiences from other major franchises in development.
Well, Peggle surely is one of the hot favorite games from PopCap, so it is a good tiding that they have another game in the making for the series however I do wonder why don’t they announce such cheesy things in a more suited way than a boring earnings call.
He also shed light on the at least three other upcoming projects saying that’ ‘new FIFA and Madden NFL experiences are set to launch during Q2, as well as a big and really fun new update for The Simpsons: Tapped Out.’
Other information shared by the earnings call conference of EA also included the delay in release date of Battlefield 4 Final Stand DLC, the last expansion for the game. It was supposed to be released in summers this year but will now come out in either the end of this year of the first month of the next.
As far as the last installment in the Peggle series is concerned, Peggle 2 is playable on Xbox One and Xbox 360. The new Peggle game would be the second mobile game in the series that we are talking about recently.
