Kingdom Hearts 3 and Final Fantasy XV Director to Attend SDCC
Tetsuya Nomura has been confirmed to be attending San Diego Comic-Con this year. The famed Japanese developer is well known for his valuable work on the Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts series.
He will be joined by Metal Gear series creator Hideo Kojima for a joint autograph session at the event. In order to approach them, attendees will require to purchase at least one of the qualifying Play Arts Kai Figures that will be on sale at Square Enix’s booth. It’s unsure as to which universe the figures will be covering, but it has to be from either the Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts or DC Comics.
Purchasing one figure gains you one ticket but you can also purchase multiple figures to net multiple tickets. Also keep in mind that the autograph session is strictly for ready-made postcards with several designs. Attendees cannot have their personal items signed. The amount of autographed postcards for one fan depends on his tickets.
Finally the booth will not allow the use of a camera for recording purposes.
Tetsuya Nomura started with Final Fantasy V where he designed the characters and then moved on to the other installments. His work was vital in developing the Kingdom Hearts series and later on he also acted as director for the CGI film Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.
Last year his released works included Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix for the PlayStation 3 and Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Currently he’s working on Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts III, both of which are highly acclaimed titles in the new next-gen era.
