The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot Rotates Free Heroes
Ubisoft is holding an event for The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot that will last for four weeks, called the Hero Draft. It allows the community of the free-to-play title to sample the four hero classes for free.
Each character will receive its own time where they are free to use. Players can then purchase the hero permanently with a discount for achieved goals.
Discounts will increase, depending on four goals. Additionally, there’s an overall community objective to unlock exclusive items.
In the first Hero Draft of The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot, the archer character will become free. That event is active now, until July 22.
Individual goals are pretty easy for this particular champion. Upon level 5, 10, 12 and 15, the archer will become cheaper to add to the roster indefinitely.
If the community also manages to complete 100,001 successful Castle Attacks, they’ll unlock the Darkness Costume for all participants.
Ubisoft has already announced the rotation of their free options. After this event, the Knight will have their time, then the Mage and then the newest champion, the Runaway.
The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot hereby wants to prep their audience for a revamp of their defense mechanisms. This update is said to follow shortly.
Currently, The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot is up on Steam. It has an interesting mechanism, where players can build their castle from a selection of rooms and protect it with traps, only to then attack other, similar player castles.
Ubisoft has several free-to-play titles, like Silent Hunter Online, The Settlers Online and so on. It’s strange that there’s not much more of a push behind their free platform.
