Japan is Getting The Last of Us and Destiny Limited Edition PS4 Consoles
Sony Computer Entertainment Asia recently announced that Japan is getting The Last of Us Remastered and Destiny limited edition Playstation 4 consoles.
The Last of Us Remastered limited edition console costs 47,980 yen (equivalent to $473) and comes with a charcoal black Playstation 4 with laser engraved hard drive cover featuring Joel and Ellie next to ‘The Last of Us’ logo, a copy of the game, and all contents of a regular 500 GB Playstation system.
Destiny limited edition console costs 46,908 yen (equivalent to $463) and is the same white Playstation 4 system which was unveiled at E3 2014 for the Western countries. The Japanese version, however, is almost $13 dollar more expansive as compared to the one available in US.
You can see both limited edition consoles above which are also available for pre-order at Sony Japan’s Online Store.
Following Playstation 4’s somewhat failed launch in Japan, Sony is an on continuous streak of releasing limited edition consoles. A couple of days ago, the company announced a Japan-exclusive Limited Edition Frozen PS4 which offered a similar design as The Last of Us Remastered edition, in terms of color scheme.
Personally, I’m all in for the Destiny bundle which does look a whole lot better than both The Last of Us and Frozen packs, but then again, everyone has their own taste.
The Last of Us Remastered limited edition will be out on Aug. 21, 2014, while the Destiny pack will be out on Sept. 11, 2014.
