Hearthstone: Curse of Naxxramas ‘Loatheb’ Card Revealed
Blizzard has today revealed another card for its upcoming single-player expansion pack Curse of Naxxramas for Hearthstone.
The new card is named Loatheb and costs 5 mana crystals to be played. Boasting an impressive 5 attack and 5 defense, Loatheb’s battlecry increases the cost of all enemy spells by 5 for the next turn only.
The battlecry alone is perfect to make trouble for say a Miracle Rogue, who has to use her spells to either get hold of new cards or use the many on hand to burst the opponent down. Loatheb will ensure that the other player will at least have to spend a turn minimum to take out the card from the table. There are also other classes that can find this card annoying.
The Mage for example loves playing spells to freeze out her opponents. She can no choose to either go for the kill or spend a turn to try and take out Loatheb. Of course if she still is holding on to that polymorph card, Loatheb isn’t going to make any difference.
Hearthstone: Curse of Naxxramas was announced yesterday for an official release on July 22. Blizzard has so far spent the previous months in revealing the new class-based cards, with the Hunter’s Webspinner being the last one.
