EA Sports has released a new trailer for FIFA 15 which shows off the game’s new emotional intelligence feature.

The said feature brings about the intensity and emotions on the faces of the in-game football players. Each will have some sort of feeling or attitude towards another player. This may include rivalry, respect, fear and the likes. These emotions will evolve over time as the match progresses and will have a substantial effect on gameplay.

According to EA, there are over 600 emotional animations in the game.

Besides the players, the crowds will also have their emotions which they will shower down through cheers and chants for their favorite teams, or boos and thumb-downs for the rival faction. Commentators will also pick up and comment on fan reactions.

You can see it all in the video posted above.

Earlier this week it was revealed that Lionel Messi will once again grace the cover of the game, having been chosen by EA three times in the past. Messi has previously starred as the cover athlete for FIFA Street 2012, FIFA 13 and FIFA 14.

However, EA has confirmed that regional releases of the game will feature other local players too behind Messi.

FIFA 15 is scheduled to release on September 25 in North America and September 26 in Europe for every major platform: PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Vita, Wii, 3DS, and PC. Ultimate Team Legends will be exclusive to Xbox consoles.
