Dragon Age: Inquisition Characters Will Not Have Mysterious Origins, Mike Laidlaw
Games these days tend to provide a little information regarding its main protagonist. You can take Ubisoft’s Watch_Dogs as a recent example of this!
Even after playing the game for hours, I was left clueless as to how Aiden learnt his shooting and hacking skills.
However, no such thing will happen in BioWare’s upcoming role-playing game, Dragon Age: Inquisition.
In response to a fan’s query, the game’s Creative Director Mike Laidlaw stated that the game would not hold back any information regarding your primary character.

All of these seem fitting as no Dragon Age title to this date has included any character with a mysterious past. Take Dragon Age: Origins as an example!
Right off the bat, the game presents players with their character’s origins. However, it’d be interesting to see how each Inquisitor came across possessing the mysterious powers at his/her disposal.
In related news, BioWare has released two gameplay videos (narrated by Mike Laidlaw) that detail the game’s various aspects like combat, environments, characters, and mobs.

Dragon Age: Inquisition is scheduled to launch across Xbox One, Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Playstation 4, and Windows PC on Oct. 7, 2014.
