Destiny Crucible 3 vs 3 and 6 vs 6 Game Modes Detailed

Earlier this month, we reported a list of competitive multiplayer game modes for Bungie’s MMO shooter, Destiny. Closely following that leak, today several images detailing the game’s Crucible Gametypes have surfaced online.

Posted on the online image sharing site Imgur by Bezoing, the Crucible Gametypes are Salvage, Skirmish, Combined Arms, Rumble, Clash and Control. All these game modes award players with Crucible Marks, bonus XP, and new arsenal.

Here is a brief rundown of all the game modes that you will be seeing in the game:

Salvage: 3v3. Secure and defend the Relics to claim the secrets of our past.
Rewards: Crucible Gear and Crucible Reputation

Skirmish: 3v3. A focused engagement between two fireteam. Teamwork is your greatest weapon.
Rewards: Crucible Gear and Crucible Reputation

Combined Arms: 6v6. Coordinate vehicles and your ground game to control the battle and rout your opponent.
Rewards: Crucible Gear and Crucible Reputation

Rumble: You against all. Hone your Light by challenging your fellow Guardians in a fight for survival.
Rewards: Crucible Gear and Crucible Reputation

Clash: 6v6. Form an alliance and fight for supremacy across the ruins of our old worlds.
Rewards: Crucible Gear and Crucible Reputation

Control: 6v6. Fight for control of strategic battle zones. Hold your ground to gain the momentum.
Rewards: Crucible Marks, Crucible Gear and Crucible Reputation

Destiny’s beta is now available across Playstation 3/Playstation 4 and will launch across Xbox 360 and Xbox One on Jul. 23, 2014 until Jul. 27, 2014.
