Borderlands The Pre-Sequel Skins Now Available in Borderlands 2
We reported recently on how Gearbox Software was going to let you get a taste of the upcoming Borderlands title while playing Borderlands 2. Now is the time. The developers have released the Borderlands The Pre-Sequel skins to the game.
Jeff Skal, the social PR manager of Gearbox Software made a post on the official website of the developer to announce a total of six skins. These skins become available through an update that goes live today:
“With today’s update, all of these customizations are now available as extremely rare drops in-game. You’ll also be able to immediately unlock one of the character’s customization sets each week via SHiFT code by clicking the corresponding images above as they go live on their listed dates.”
As a result of this, you will be able to cosplay in the following order:
- Axton as Athena (July 18)
- Salvador as Wilhelm (July 25)
- Maya as Nisha (August 1)
- Zer0 as Claptrap (August 8)
- Gaige as Moon Moxxi (August 15)
- Krieg as a Scav (August 22)

Borderlands The Pre-Sequel is geared up for a release on October 14, 2014 in the North America and on October 17 internationally. The game is currently being developed for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox One.
