Magic 2015 – Duels of the Planeswalkers is a card game based on a board game of the same nature and the same name. Fans of the game have been waiting for it ever since Wizards of the Coast announced that Stainless Games was going to turn it into a video game.

Now although the expected release dates have been met for all other platforms, the publishers have announced that the Xbox One version of the game has been delayed.

Sean Gibbons, who is the associate community manager took to the official forums with the announcement regarding the Xbox One version as well as the release dates for the rest of the platforms:

Due to unforseen challenges, the Xbox One version will be launching later this summer. We’re excited and looking forward to bringing an excellent Magic experience to this next-gen platform and we appreciate your patience leading up to the release.

So as of now, the game is available for iPad, Android Tablets through Google Play, Android Tablets through Amazon Store, PC through Steam and Xbox One.

As you can see, Magic 2015 – Duels of the Planeswalkers is available right away on most of the other platforms, you might be able to squeeze in some dimes and try out the game before banging your heads on the wall about the Xbox One version being delayed.

However, the story doesn’t end there. People asked about an expected release date for the Xbox One version to which Gibbons said that ‘unfortunately there isn’t an exact date I can give you right now.’
