Heroes & Legends: Conquerors of Kolhar Headed To PC
Right off the launch of Quest for Infamy, Phoenix Online Publishing announced that it will take Heroes & Legends: Conquerors of Kolhar under its wing. As with most the company’s products, it seeks to launch on Steam and other PC channels.
Heroes & Legends: Conquerors of Kolhar will arrive on August 21, for a price point to be determined later. You may have guessed it from the name; it’s a roleplaying game (RPG).
More so, the RPG uses the currently popular roguelike elements of randomized content. For instance, quests and loot will be dropped at random, while a party of characters roams through a map.
There’s a crafting system in place to transform said goods into better equipment for the different classes of fighters. Additionally, a leveling system is set up through the use of scrolls.
Combat is said to take place automatically with the current equipment, though there are additional buttons on top of the screen that note an interactive element during combat.
Some may recognize the art style of Heroes & Legends: Conquerors of Kolhar, as its hand-drawn models sort of resemble light browser RPGs of years past. Its hearts and other tidbits may also remind you of the recent Steam release, Questrun.
That’s because Heroes & Legends: Conquerors of Kolhar is made by developer Cuve Games, who also made Questrun. It has a similar pitch as well, since that previous project also trimmed fat from otherwise long-winded RPG tropes.
We’ll post a Questrun screenshot below, so you can see just how the two match up. They definitely get points for continuity.
It may not look like the most original of games, but hopefully Heroes & Legends: Conquerors of Kolhar will be catchy through its higher pace. We have a month until we find out.
