Meet Cleaners, the Slightly Crazy Thugs of The Division

By   /   Jul 15, 2014

Here’s something to bring you back to the viciously infected world of Tom Clancy’s The Division. A video has been released by developer Ubisoft where the devs are talking about the E3 trailer as well as explaining to us how The Cleaners work.

For those who missed it at the E3, The Cleaners are the game’s enemy faction. While The Division is assigned with saving as many lives as possible, they are fond of cleaning up altogether i.e. kill everything – total wipeout.

In the video above, Game Director Ryan Barnard is talking about them and a handful of other features of the game in a UbiBlog Interview.

He explains how The Cleaners don’t take survivors, and burn everything that they see. They are going to be a tough nut to crack and you ‘would want to take them on by yourself,’ says Barnard.

Later on he also discusses some of the customization features of the game as well as the new technological features that are going to be there at your disposal.

The Division is being developed by three Ubisoft studios i.e. Massive, Reflections and Red Storm. The game is slated for release on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One sometime next year.
