Here’s How First Person Games Look From Third Person Perspective

By   /   Jul 15, 2014

If you are among the people who have always wondered what it would look like if you managed to play first-person games with a third-person perspective, then wonder no more and thank the developers that they didn’t include any feature like this, because if they had, the game would have looked quite similar to the GIF of Crysis given below.

Mostly, in the first person single player campaigns, animations do not require to be fully done because there is no way for anyone to notice how your character is going to look, which is why developers focus more on the gameplay than character animations.

Another example of this is Mirror’s Edge, which as you can see in the video below doesn’t look like it has been given a lot of animations.

Only parts that are usually visible in first-person games are hands and legs, which gives developer the option of skipping the body animation altogether.

Another similar video is of Dead Island, which also doesn’t feel as fantastic and gruesome as it does when you are playing in a first-person perspective.
