Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution Minato Namikaze Screenshots
Publisher Bandai Namco has announced a new fighter for the roster of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution. Minato Namikaze will join the line-up in Reanimation version and Kurama Link Mode.
Minato Namikaze is the Fourth Hokage in the Naruto lore and can make use of some special techniques. For instance, the famous Rasengan will be a part of the fighter’s move set, as well as a Space-Time Ninjutsu, like some sort of Doctor Who.
During battles in the Fourth Great Ninja War, titular character Naruto and Minato Namikaze will be able to team up. Together, they can use an Ultimate Combination Jutsu, which is sure to be quite flashy.
Most Naruto fighting games make use of quick-cutting cinematic reels during fights that show off some impactful moves. There’s a lot of animation and grandeur linked to these special abilities, for emphasizing effect.
If you want to sample Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution, you can still access the game demo on Playstation Network and Xbox Live. Its online mode will be available until July 23, 2014.
During this time, you’ll be able to partake in some pre-release tournaments for the fighting title. Earlier, Bandai Namco announced that it had set up its own Storm League, in association with eSports experts ESL.
In the Storm League, players are encouraged to run their own competitions, bringing the game closer to other fighting game peers. Maybe Naruto will join the EVO fighting tournament roster at some point.
