Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Skins Coming to Borderlands 2
Release date of Borderlands The Pre-Sequel might be as far as three months from now, and I can understand the eagerness. However, what if you could get a just a little taste of the game much sooner?
What I am talking about are certain skins that are to be featured in the upcoming game. Gearbox Software has decided to share them with you in Borderlands 2 as soon as next week!
At the GaymerX Conference yesterday, the developer Gearbox announced that the skins will be released to Borderlands 2 as a free update.
You might be wondering how you can get them; well, its simple, the developers will be planting the skins inside the game as rare item drops after an update releases to the game on the coming Tuesday.
Among the skins, you will be able to don Moon Moxxi outfit for Gaige as well as a Claptrap costume – hopefully among others. That being said, the developers also said that they looked at the skins as a way that let the Borderlands 2 players cosplaying Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.
Sadly, for now there are no Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions in development for the game – knowing that alone was quite a downer but the game itself is pretty exciting.
Very recently, 2K Australia’s head Tony Lawrence provided a hope to the contrary saying that the game might eventually get a port to the eighth generation consoles.
Borderlands The Pre-Sequel was leaked and then officially announced in April this year; it is currently scheduled for a release on PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows in the North American region on October 14, 2014.
The international release will be three days later on October 17.
