Sunset Overdrive Latest Broadcast Discusses Cinematic, Day One Digital Edition & More

Last week, Insomniac provided us with our first look at Sunset Overdrive’s opening cinematic, which showed how the energy drink outbreak begun in Sunset City.

Now, a new Sunset TV Broadcast has come online, which provides new details on how the developers are looking to create cinematic that supports the fast-paced gameplay.

Moreover, developer revealed that Sunset Overdrive can be purchased digitally through Xbox Live Marketplace, which will get you all the Day One Edition content as well as a new AMP.

The new AMP that you will be getting is called “Scorched Earth,” which will produce lava blasts on the areas that you walk on and can prove to be a deadly trap against the unwary enemies.

However, people who are looking to get the game digitally will have to wait a bit, because it is not available at this moment, but will be in the future.

Sunset Overdrive is shaping up to another great title from Insomniac with its fast-paced over-the-top gameplay, and unique weapons, but we will see how the game holds up in the market, when it finally releases on 28th of October, exclusively for Xbox One.
