Persona 4 Arena Ultimax Gets Third Trailer, Will Be Region Free
Atlus has released a new trailer, the third in the series in fact, for their upcoming fighter Persona 4 Arena Ultimax.
The sequel to Persona 4 Arena, that was released back in 2012, will feature several characters to its roster and also some new changes to the game itself when compared to its predecessor. You can watch that in the new trailer, as well as a bunch of anime cutscenes, a peek at Japan’s limited edition version and the Tohru Adachi DLC that’s set for launch.
The publisher also revealed that Persona 4 Arena Ultimax will be region free for North and South America. Additionally all EVO 2014 attendees will have the opportunity to go hands-on with the game. EVO this year is also featuring a Persona 4 Arena tournament. So fans have a great opportunity to breath in both Arena titles.
Pre-order and first-run copies will include a collectible Teddie bop bag and Set #1 of the Persona Tarot Cards. Atlus previously announced that the playable DLC character Tohru Adachi will be free for one week following the game’s launch.
Persona 4 Arena Ultimax will feature all 13 playable characters from the previous title; as well as Rise Kujikawa, the announcer of the previous game, as a playable character. Ultimax also adds Yukari Takeba, Junpei Iori, Ken Amada and Koromaru (with Ken and Koromaru acting as a single character) of Persona 3 as new playable characters. The game also adds a new original character named Sho Minazuki, who can be played with or without a Persona. An alternate form of Sho, known as Tsukiyomi, appears as the game’s final boss. Additionally, Tohru Adachi of Persona 4 appears as a playable character, available as downloadable content.
Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is scheduled to release this fall for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
