The Elder Scrolls Online To Recieve Third Update in August

The Elder Scrolls Online is going to receive its third major update early next month, Bethesda and parent company ZeniMax Online announced today.

The upcoming update will bring some changes to the current veteran ranking system in the game, as well as balances to all classes. The guild creation and management process will see to an overhaul, including its ranks, bank permissions and allowing players to create heraldry and dye armor. heraldry. Several itemization issues have been looked over and Bethesda is also improving the overall combat feel to make it more fun for the general player population

We’re devoting a large portion of Update 3 to making sure that guilds are easy to create, fun to join and manage, and provide players with a social group that helps them in their journey through Tamriel.

Speaking about the combat system, the developer stated that they are tweaking “dozens of different game systems to lead to a smoother, more responsive combat system.” This though cannot be covered in a single update and hence players should expect changes over time. The team has their sight set on changing animations, audio, timing, server network optimization and other various factors to make combat more engaging.

The Elder Scrolls Online is currently available on the PC and comes with a subscription based model. The PS4 and Xbox One versions are scheduled to release later this year.
