Assassin’s Creed Pirates Free On iOS This Week
This week’s free iOS app is none other than Assassin’s Creed Pirates, the spin-off to this year’s Black Flag iteration. Normally, that game would set you back €4.69, so you might want to jump on it as soon as you can.
You’ll need iOS 7.0 or better to run it and the game is optimized for iPhone 5. Naturally, it’s also playable on your recent iPod or iPad.
Be prepared to download Assassin’s Creed Pirates from home on your trusty Wi-Fi connection, because it has a size of 866Mb. Our coverage wouldn’t allow for such frivolity on the move.
Assassin’s Creed Pirates is a distilled version of Black Flag’s main boating trait. In the game, it’s possible to commandeer a ship in the Caribbean, looking for fights and plunder.
Other ships roaming the seas will be targets or enemies, both in need of a naval battle to take down. This is possible with a differing range of cannon ammunition, which hurt sails, decks and so on.
Moreover, Assassin’s Creed Pirates allows for another decent pastime from the main series. With crew management, the ship can be enhanced.
In this game, this is translated through new men that join the crew, who each have their own perks in combat. Ships themselves can have particular statistics as well.
Aside from the free download for iOS, Assassin’s Creed Pirates recently also put out a free version on browsers. That edition is really the most basic of them all though, as its mostly just a short racing demo with a ship.
Assassin’s Creed Pirates released at the end of last year for both iOS and Android.
