It has been said that Project Spark is one of the more ambitious game creation videogame of recent times. Many of us have been playing it in beta phase since last year but now all that changes. The retail release of the game, titled Project Spark Starter Pack has been announced. You will get the full game on October 9.

The said edition has been priced at $39.99 and it will be adding premium content to the game. This includes ‘the first sci-fi pack “Galaxies: First Contact,” the warrior champion Sir Haakon “Hawk” the Knight, “Champions Quest: Void Storm,” the first episode of an epic campaign adventure, and more.’

That is not all; buyers of the Starter Pack are going to get ‘immediate access to some of the best paid content, features and add-ons in a single package.’ The same is also going to be made available digitally for Xbox One as well as for the Windows 8.1 version of the game.

If you wish to try out the basic game for yourself, it is going to be available to download for free on your Xbox One and Windows 8.1. If you like it, you might as well spend those 40 bucks and get the aforementioned Project Spark Starter Pack.

The retail release of the game marks an end to the beta version that has been on a run since December last year. Talking of the creators, the beta testers are simply going to get an update on their previous game and get the full version.

You retain all your credits, creations and favorite levels.

You may get the beta version from the Xbox One Marketplace or the Windows 8 Store right now, or wait for the Project Spark Starter Pack to come on October 9.
