Ori and the Blind Forest Gets 25 Minutes Footage

By   /   Jul 9, 2014

Ori and the Blind Forest was announced last month at the E3 2014 conference with a beautiful trailer. However that has been the only footage we have seen for the game up until now. We now have a new footage for the game.

Comparing to the one and a half minute trailer, this video is a hefty 25 minute long and has a lot to share about the game. The language being spoken is German of course, but I suggest you go ahead and give it a try.

If you have been unfortunate enough to miss the E3 press briefing of Microsoft as well as everything about the game ever since then, let us enlighten you. Ori and the Blind Forest is an atmospheric indie side scroller that is being chimed as a Metroidvania styled game.

You control a guardian spirit that has been adopted by a creature that looks like a bear. An evil entity named Kuro takes away the bear-like creature and so Ori sets out to explore the forest.

Later on in the game you control a character known Sein as well – it is another celestial looking creature. Check out the video and tell us what you think of Ori and the Blind Forest.
