Cole isn’t Confirmed For Gears of War Xbox One, Voice Actor Hoped To Reprise Role
Earlier this week, Lester Speight, the voice actor of Gears of War’s Cole Train tweeted that he will be taking back his role of the famous character in the upcoming Xbox One version of the game.
However, in a new tweet, Speight states, that it was all a misunderstanding. What he meant to say was, that he would like to reprise his role as Cole Train in the upcoming title, but haven’t been contacted by Microsoft.
Let me clear up misunderstanding I’m willing to reprise my roll as Cole Train but I HAVEN’T BEEN CONTACTED YET, STOP!!! NO MORE RUMORS!!!

Now, this was a big misunderstanding, because many fans of the popular Gears of War franchise got really happy when they got the news of Cole Train returning to the game.
We will see how the game is shaping up, when it is finally unveiled to the public, which probably is not going to happen until mid 2015.
Earlier this year, Microsoft acquired the rights for the Gears of War series, which means that popular franchise will stay exclusive to Xbox for a long while.
However, this time around, it’s not Epic Games that is handling the development, instead the task has been assigned to Black Tusk Studio, who started working on the project just a few months ago.
What is your take on this misunderstanding regarding upcoming Gears of War for Xbox One?
