Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Narrated Video Walkthough Released
A walkthrough session of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel shown last month at E3 is now available online for all to see, courtesy of 2K Games and Gearbox Software.
As an added bonus, the walkthrough also features the game’s developers narrating the entire experience step by step. While at one glance we might put it as a Borderlands 2 clone, which in a sense it is, the narration points out some of the newer elements that Gearbox has instilled.
The mission shown in the video takes place on the moon where the players have to keep a sharp eye on their oxygen consumptions. While you can probably rush through with guns blazing, the game asks you to tackle the oxygen usage in order to take on the mission itself.
Playing as Handsome Jack’s henchman Wilhelm, the player is tasked with shooting and looting his way through waves of enemies in search of a military AI. The low gravity of the moon allows you to jump extremely high here. However, don’t expect to be jumping over the enemies any time soon. Some of them are equipped with jetpacks which they use to gain altitude to box you in.
Before the mission starts you get a look at the character customization screen, where you can choose different abilities and items to help you complete the mission. With Wilhelm, you can swap out entire limbs, eventually leading to him becoming the more robotic version of himself encountered in Borderlands 2.
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel takes place between the original Borderlands and Borderlands 2. It features four characters like always, which have all been featured before in the series as non-playable folks.
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will launch on October 14 for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
