Hyrule Warriors to Get Fi, Skyward Sword Costumes Confirmed as Well
Moments before the official news came in, people were speculating – rather hoping – that the newly teased character of Hyrule Warriors should be Fi from The Legend of Zelda series. Now, it has been confirmed.
The character was confirmed through the Japanese magazine Famitsu where it has also been confirmed that Link and Zelda’s costumes from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword are going to be available for use in Hyrule Warriors as well.
If you liked Midnas in the previous Zelda games, you would be happy to know that her Big Ball weapon will also be featured in the game.
For those of you who do not know who Fi is, she is a companion of Link who actually featured in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. She is basically a spirit that is inside the Goddess Sword and guides the chosen hero (Link) at the time of trials.
Moreover, if you look at her, the original character model resembles with the Queen of Fairies of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures. It is still not sure if there is any connection between the two.
Originally she has been a recorder or messages from Goddess Hylia, other than that she can absorb heat and energy to channel it in the hero’s sword. She can communicate with machinery even from a distance.
Hyrule Warriors has a lot of characters from the Dynasty Warriors and The Legend of Zelda series, but it is still not confirmed how many others are yet to come. The game is supposed to release in Japan in August and in September in North America, Europe and Australia.
