Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Also Features a Hoverbike
Sledgehammer Games has posted a new screenshot for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, which could suggest that the game’s multiplayer might feature vehicles.
The screenshot posted today was that of a Hoverbike and came without any details. This comes right after the developer’s unveiling of the T-740 Hovertank last week, a monstrous vehicle that boasts multiple cannons, gunners and armor.
With so much attention to vehicles, could it be that Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will feature vehicles in its multiplayer mode? For all we know the Hoverbike will be just restricted to a certain section in the game’s single-player campaign. Then again it could also be a Killstreak reward in multiplayer.
Vehicular warfare in Call of Duty titles is rare and is mostly kept to single-player missions. We know that Sledgehammer is trying to do something different and fresh with their Call of Duty iteration this year. It’s quite possible that the futuristic warfare setting ends up allowing soldiers to make use of vehicles on the battlefield.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is set in the year 2054, a time when soldiers are fitted with exosuits and who are armed with grenades capable of marking every enemy in a two mile radius.
The game is scheduled for release on November 4 for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
