Euro Nintendo eShop Update Adds Pokémon Card Game And NES Remix Sale

This week’s Nintendo eShop update in Europe is pretty slim. Only a handful of titles are added to the line-up, though there is a treat for Pokémon fans.

On Nintendo 3DS, you’ll be able to score the classic Pokémon Trading Card Game that came out on Game Boy Color. It comes with the first three sets of card released, back when rules were still simple and decks were full of Alakazam.

Aside from collecting 226 cards, you’ll be able to take on eight masters, just like the core Pokémon game. Pokémon Trading Card Game will cost €4.99, arguably a fairly decent price for a title from Nintendo’s big franchises.

If you’re looking for a deal this week, maybe you can add the NES Remix titles to your collection. Until 24 July, there’s a 30% discount off one of the Wii U games, if you already own the other one.

For example, this means that if you own NES Remix, you can download NES Remix 2 for €6.99, instead of its normal €9.99. Vice versa is equally true.

In case you missed it when it quietly launched on the Nintendo eShop, Nintendo Pocket Football Club is also getting a short discount on 3DS until July 13. You can grab it for €11.99, just on time for the World Cup.

Nintendo Pocket Football Club is a manager simulation with cute pixel characters. It may not be a deep as its peers, but that’s not really the scope you should be going for in this light-hearted take on the genre.

Let us know if you’re picking something up from the Nintendo eShop this week.
