Halo: The Master Chief Collection Gets a New Trailer
Halo: The Master Chief Collection was announced by Microsoft last month during their E3 press event as an Xbox One exclusive bundle. The Collection will include Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2: Anniversary Edition, Halo 3, and Halo 4. The collection will also feature every multiplayer map from each of those titles, and even a beta for the upcoming Halo 5: Guardians.
Developer 343 Industries recently held a panel at the Rooster Teeth’s RTX expo where they revealed new information about the Collection, as well a new trailer.
According to 343 Industries, Coagulation will return as a playable multiplayer map in Halo 2 Anniversary. The Ascension map has been updated to include a giant energy shield that can be activated by players in the middle of the map. It will provide additional cover for units and great strategical advantage.
Additionally the developer is including new game types like Ricochet, Race, SWAT, Infection, “and more” to Halo 2’s multiplayer. There are also going to be a mix of new weapons and vehicles, including the Assault Rifle, Silenced SMG, Speed Boost, and Mongoose. Fans will also get a brand new vehicle to the series called the M274-M “Gungoose,” which is essentially a Mongoose with guns attached to it.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection is one the biggest releases this fall, not only because of the included titles but also because it gives players the key, to access Halo 5: Guardians beta at the end of this year. People who pre-order the collection, will receive a skull bandana as a bonus, which will give them unlimited ammo and grenades to be used in all four campaigns.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection launches on Xbox One on November 11.
