The four vs.one multiplayer shooter by Turtle Rock and 2K Games, Evolve is getting a limited closed alpha test, ahead of its launch in October.

Currently, available exclusively for PC, interested users can sign-up at the game’s official site. However, there are some conditions that must be fulfilled:

The players must be residing in United States or Canada and must have a working Steam account on a PC running Microsoft’s Windows.

In addition to this, players will also require a Password and a Referal Code to take the survey. Turtle Rock’s community manager Jess Damerst has provided these both on her Twitter account:

Password: happyhunting
Referral Code: JoinTheHunt

Players will be required to take a brief survey about their PC hardware specifications, shooters they have already played, what gaming platforms they own, Steam account details, and contact information.

Furthermore, each participant will be asked not to divulge the details of the alpha to anyone. Turtle Rock has promised to finalize the list of participants by Jul. 5, 2014.

Following the PC alpha, the developer is also planning on kicking off an open beta for Xbox One, prior to the release.

Do you think Evolve will live to its hype? Let us know!

Evolve is slated to launch across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on Oct. 21, 2014.
