Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX: Interactive Trailer Compares Updated Version With Original
Square Enix has released an interactive YouTube video to showcase the visual improvements they have managed to achieve in Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX.
The video offers glimpses on a variety of characters and environments and compares the game’s updated version with the original PlayStation 2 one in terms of SD and HD. A lot has been changed for the better. We now have better color tones and swaps for both characters and environments. Character models and clothing have been smoothed out and in some cases even overhauled. There will be new costumes available in the game, which you can spot in the video. Square Enix has done a fine job in achieving such graphical enhancements.
Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX is scheduled for release on the PlayStation 3 in North America on December 2, followed by Europe on December 5. The game will also include three other journeys – Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep Final Mix, and Kingdom Hearts Re:coded (HD remastered cinematics).
A couple of weeks ago, Square Enix released a batch of screenshots detailing in-game combat, Sora’s drive system, reaction commands, and a wide array of characters and worlds that Sora will encounter in the game.
It was most interesting to see what new characters would be joining our party. From the shots we see the inclusion of Hercules, Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean, Aladdin, TRON, and Lilo & Stitch. These of course are just a few of what we’ll have access to.
