Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment Slated for Aug. 20 Release in Europe

Bandai Namco has announced that Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment will be coming to Europe on 20th of August, later this year.

The announcement was made via Bandai Namco UK’s twitter account, where they wrote:


Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment is the video game adaptation of the TV anime series of the same name.

The game features more than one hundred recruit-able characters to choose from that players will be able to take into journey through the game’s dungeons and the gameplay elements are combination of RPG with some elements taken of dating sim.

Events in the game continues the story of previous entry, Sword Art Online: infinity Moment, as you take control of game’s protagonist Kirito, who just got trapped in a MMORPG and his death in the game will cause him to die in real life as well.

Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment has been a huge success in the Japanese markets as it topped the charts upon its release on 23rd April earlier this year.

So, there you have Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment will hit the shelves in Europe on 20th of August exclusively for PS Vita.
