Guilty Gear Xrd: Sign Welcomes Sin Kiske as a New Playable Character

By   /   Jul 2, 2014

Arc System Works’ latest installment in Guilty Gear franchise, Guilty Gear Xrd: Sign already has 14 playable characters and another one just got unveiled – thanks to this week’s issue of Famitsu Magazine.

The newly unveiled character is Sin Kiske, son of Ky Kiske and Dizzy. Although we don’t have much information on Sin Kiske’s fighting style or whether or not he will utilize his War Flag, we do know that he will come with a unique ability called “Full Stomach.”

Sin Kiske

“Full Stomach” will decrease after every special move execution. Once this gauge is empty, Sin Kiske won’t be able to execute any of his special attacks and players will have to stop during a match to get him to eat something.

While this may seem like a frustrating attribute to some players, I find it pretty interesting as it will add depth to the character’s fighting style.

Guilty Gear Xrd: Sign has promised to feature a plethora of new gameplay mechanics, tweaking of Dust & Launcher Attacks, and granting players the choice of dashing towards the opponent or jump at the beginning of a combo.

Coming exclusively for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, Guilty Gear Xrd: Sign is scheduled to release sometime in fall, 2014 – well, at least in Japan.
