Warface released to Microsoft Windows in October last year and on Xbox One couple of months back in April. Although many of you might have had a chance to play the game on PC then and there, many use Steam for that purpose. Lucky for them, Crytek Kiev has launched the game on Steam as well.

If you are interested in getting your hands on the free to play first-person shooter, now is your time.

For those who don’t know much about the game, it is a military based modern-day shooter that pits Warface, your protagonist team against an evil militarized force called Blackwood.

The game has elements of co-operative gameplay as well that let you and your friends join hands together to fight of the AI enemies. Then there are these versus modes where you can challenge the skills of your mates or other humans to a bout.

The announcement post of Warface being launched on Steam also has some tidbits about the game’s classes and locations:

Pick one of the four soldier classes (Medic, Rifleman, Sniper, Engineer) and use their special abilities to help your fellow soldiers tackle the rival forces of Blackwood. With a constant flow of fresh content, you can conquer different territories such as China, Kosovo, Afghanistan and more.

To advance more effectively, you can also join or create a new clan and establish your position in fierce Versus matches with other clans or come together in Co-op play as you bid to conquer the Warface leaderboards.

How many of you have played Warface before? Will you be downloading it through Steam?
