Binding of Isaac: Rebirth Will Have Thrice the Number of Levels Than Original Release
The creator of Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, Edmund McMillin has confirmed on his weblog that the game will feature over three times the amount of levels available in the original release.
Other notable features of this reboot are a wide plethora of 450 items which is almost double the amount of items found in the original Binding of Isaac and Wrath of the Lamb expansion pack, more than 50 novel enemies, and 15 new bosses.
In addition to this, the reboot will include a new feature dubbed as ‘Double Trouble’ which will make players fight two previous bosses at the same time.
Talking about rarities and rooms, Edmund McMillin writes that instead of 150 rooms for each chapter [As available in the original title], the reboot will have 500 rooms. Along with this, these rooms will have a Rarity Slider. This feature will ensure that the amount of rarities yielded from these rooms will be different.
Beside these 500 rooms, there are additional 5 special rooms, but their purpose is yet to be known!
Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is a reimagined version of 2011’s indie hit which is being developed from scratch. The game will have co-op mode, new challenges, and a discount for those who already own the original game.
