Publisher Ripstone unveiled a shiny new trailer for Pure Pool, which will bring some table sports action to the new line of consoles. Some gameplay is shown in the clip that features a variety of balls hitting other balls.

In this simulation game, you’ll be able to partake in several games of pool. This comes with some rather spot on visuals, realistic physics and easy to understand gameplay.

Online, you’ll be able to take on a community of people in one-on-one events. Moreover, it’s possible to play against the same people, technically, in singleplayer mode.

Through a DNA Profile system, Pure Pool allows its players to download data from others in order to let the artificial intelligence (AI) use their characteristics and style. That way, you can practice bouts against your friends, even if they’re not on at the moment.

In the clip, we can see a brief illustration of how this works. In-game, you can select from a list of players, categorized in different mastery tiers, along with the accolades they’ve collected and statistics about their playthroughs.

To start this off, developer VooFoo Studios will put their team’s DNA Profiles in the game, free of charge. That way, you can see if you have what it takes to beat the development team.

Pure Pool is the first pool game to make it to Xbox One. It will also release on Playstation 4 and PC through Steam.

VooFoo Studios already has a few of these table sports under its belt. Prior to Pure Pool, the team also worked on Pure Chess and Hustle Kings.
