Insomniac Games Announces Slow Down, Bull – An Indie-Inspired Title

By   /   Jun 27, 2014

The developer behind some really popular titles like Resistance and Ratchet & Clank, Insomniac Games is working on a brand new title called Slow Down, Bull.

This game is not like any other previous AAA title as developer wanted to “Experiment” with this small budget game that is being worked on by 5 people.

Inspired by Indie Developers like DoubleFine, Insomniac’s Lisa Brown states the reason for this “Experiment” as:

We’ve been super inspired by our friends at DoubleFine and their adventures with Amnesia Fortnight, and we love Vlambeer’s performative development initiative with Nuclear Throne. Seeing all the cool, small games and development streams popping up is incredibly inspiring! That led us to consider what a true indie project of our own would.

Slow Down, Bull is basically an action game based on an extremely stressed and over-achieving bull, named Axel.

He has a habit of collecting beautiful things for himself, but in order to do that, he must overcome his bullish nature.

The best part is that you don’t have to wait for too long to see the game in action as developer has revealed that they will be streaming their work, every Friday starting from today at 2PM PST on Insomniac’s Twitch channel.

It does look like another unique game from the developer who are also hard at work at creating Sunset Overdrive for Xbox One. Here’s to hoping that the announced project will live upto expectations.
