Alien: Isolation Will Run At 1080p, 60fps On Both PS4 & Xbox One

The developers behind the upcoming horror-survival game, Alien: Isolation have revealed that their game will run on 1080p, 60 Frames per Second on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 without any notable difference.

In an interview with Total Xbox, senior designer of the game Gary Napper said:

The game will run at 1080p on both consoles. That’s actually not something I get that into, because we build it on one central engine and then kick it out to different versions.

So when I think about working on the game it’s almost platform agnostic because I only think about the differences between platforms and the different mechanics we can use like the light on the PS4 pad and the stuff with Kinect 2.0.

Napper continued on to say that Alien: Isolation will obviously not look as good on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 due to their inferior hardware specifications, but still, the game will provide an incredible experience.

On the other hand, PC players will have tons of options to maximize their game’s graphical experience as much as they want, depending upon their specifications.

The game will have less shooting and more survival elements as players will have to rely on stealth tactics. There will only be only one alien in the game that cannot be killed and can pop up anytime so you will have to be on your toes all the time.

Alien: Isolation is set to release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC on 7th of October.
