July Games With Gold Titles Revealed

Microsoft has revealed three titles for the month of July in its Games with Gold program for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

For a limited time you can download the following titles on the respective platforms:

  • Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition – starting July 2 (Xbox One)
  • Gotham City Impostors – July 1-15 (Xbox 360)
  • BattleBlock Theater – July 16-31 (Xbox 360)

“Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition” by DrinkBox Studios is a brawler/platformer that is being released through Microsoft’s ID@Xbox self-publishing program for Xbox One. Players fill the shoes of Juan Aguacate, a masked Mexican wrestler on a quest to save the President’s daughter from the evil, skeletal Carlos Calaca. The game features puzzle solving, platform elements, a vibrant world and humor. As for July 2, it will replace June’s Xbox One Games with Gold title Halo: Spartan Assault. If you miss this chance to get it for free, then you can always opt to purchase it for $14.99.

“Gotham City Impostors” by Monolith Productions, Inc. is going to be made available within the first two weeks of July. The multiplayer title sees to two teams of six players pitted against each other in deathmatches.

“BattleBlock Theater” by The Behemoth will be available in the last two weeks of July and have you and your friends battling to make way through a mysterious theater inhabited by highly technological felines.
