Destiny Beta Headed To Xbox One and Xbox 360 At The End Of July

PlayStation 4 owners got their hands on Destiny’s alpha just a few days ago and now Bungie has revealed that Xbox One and Xbox 360 users will be testing beta of the game at the end of July.

However, it will be just closed beta and only limited number of players will be allowed. On the other hand, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 beta will begin on 17th of July.

The alpha impressions of Destiny were quite positive as players appraised the game for the modes, detailed environment and incredible gunplay.

In a related news, Bungie has announced that in Japan, Destiny will be releasing only for the PS3 and PS4 while Xbox owners in the country will have to get it shipped from abroad.

This decision may not affect game’s sales too much because Xbox 360 couldn’t get much attention from the Japanese community and Xbox One is not going to launch until September so currently, most of the players own either PS3 or a PS4.

Bungie is promising that players’ experience with Destiny will remain in their memory for a long time, just like it did with its previous franchise of Halo.

Destiny has gained a huge fan base for itself with more players getting in after trying out the Alpha. With beta on the way next month for all platforms, expect the fan base of the game to rise even more.

Destiny is scheduled to hit the stores on 9th of September for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
