Another World: 20th Anniversary Edition Suddenly Appears For Sale On Xbox One

Eric Chahi’s highly acclaimed classic adventure; Another World is now available to download for Xbox One.

The game completed its 20th anniversary back in 2011, and its re-release for various platforms was announced in the same year.

Sony had announced the release date of the game for PS3, PS4 and PS Vita as 25th July but the Xbox One version remained dateless, until suddenly Major Nelson announced on his website that the game is now available on the next generation console for $7.99

Another World: 20th Anniversary Edition boasts remastered audio alongside the original sound and in-game soundtrack, as well as both the original visuals and revamped HD graphics.

Players will have the option to switch between the original visuals and the remastered HD visuals of the 20th Anniversary Edition.

An immersive adventure with unique storytelling Another World chronicles the story of Lester Knight Chaykin a young scientist hurtled through space and time by a nuclear experiment that goes wrong.

The game provides no clues as to what the player should do next, features no HUD except for an oxygen bar during the swimming sequences, and no on-screen text; to present some real challenge.

PC version of the game was released in 2013 on Steam and GoG.
