Recruit SoulCalibur: Lost Swords Players For Cat Ears And Swimsuits
Boy, Bandai Namco sure knows what its fans want with the announcement of a new promotion for SoulCalibur: Lost Swords. In an attempt to recruit a recurring audience, players can score items and outfits during a certain period.
Starting now, people who recruit others will receive a snazzy pair of cat ears for their fighter to wear, once that person registers an account. There is also a short white apron to unlock this way.
Moreover, by employing social media, it’s also possible to nab a qipao dress, which is a traditional Chinese garment that hugs the body. Drafting new players can be done through Twitter with the use of a #SCLS hashtag.
Regular players can score some goodies as well, simply by playing the game. Those who log into SoulCalibur: Lost Swords on consecutive days, starting now, can win wristbands, sunglasses, hats and swimsuits.
There’s also a French maid outfit planned for July 2, available when players buy a treasure chest. It’s not exactly a subtle clothing choice, but the SoulCalibur franchise is known for quite a bit of sexualized exaggeration.
SoulCalibur: Lost Swords is a free-to-play iteration of Bandai Namco’s fighting series. It’s also not being received too well among critics, stumbling over ratings like 3/10.
In case you’re not that into SoulCalibur: Lost Swords, don’t fret, because Bandai Namco recently went hard into the free-to-play scene. It also has two free Tekken titles, a free version of Ace Combat, a new property called Rise of Incarnates on the way and a dreadful Ridge Racer iteration on its way out.
