PlayStation Now Beta Gets Six New Games with Same Pricing Model

By   /   Jun 25, 2014

PlayStation Now is a service by Sony that allows you to rent games on offer. It’s currently in beta and has added six new games.

Among the games, you will be able to get your hands on Saints Row 2, Resident Evil Code: Veronica X, Dead Rising 2: Off the Record, Darksiders, Catherine and Ben 10 Omniverse 2.

The last game comes in to replace Ben 10 Omniverse the original game in the series.

As far as the pricing model is concerned, Sony Computer Entertainment has not changed anything about it and new games will also be rented on the same rates as the previous games. We were expecting a decrease in price though considering majority has rejected the pricing model.

If you wish to get one of those six games or any other game available on rent from PlayStation Now Beta, you can do so on four different rates.

Those who wish to try out the game for just a couple of hours can rent it for $2.99 for four hours. Then there is a seven day rental period that will cost you $5.99, a 30 day rental period costing $7.99 and finally, a three month period that will set you back $14.99.

Ben 10 Omniverse 2 is an exception as it follows a different (more expensive) pricing model. The four hour period costs $4.99, seven days cost $7.99, one month costs $14.99 and you will have to pay $29.99 for a three month rental.
