Star Citizen Stretch Goals Will Continue Based on Community’s Demand

Cloud Imperium’s Star Citizen just hit its goal of $47 Million and today, Chris Roberts has revealed that due to high demand from the community, the funding goals will keep on stretching.

Chris Roberts wrote in an official blog about the new goals and how they will focus on rewarding the players of the game.

Every dollar supports Star Citizen’s persistent universe… but I’m not comfortable promising additional features with each million unless they’re truly additive.

When we have a new idea that really impacts the final game and needs the funding then we’ll offer it here… but you can expect a number of player rewards and new ways of highlighting Arena Commander as immediate goals!

He also wrote that if Star Citizen manages to reach $49 Million stretch goal, then a new Xi’An Space Planet will be added to the game.

The player count for Star Citizen has been increasing and developers are working really hard to put new content in the game as more funding goals are achieved.

Recently, a new patch update for Arena Commander dogfighting module was released, which fixed number of issues and gave game’s access to more players.

Star Citizen is shaping up to be an amazing experience and it will be exciting to see what new features and rewards Chris Roberts has in mind as funding goals move further.
