In today’s video, we discuss something subjective – are video game remasters good or bad? And...
Modified Xbox 360 Can Run GTA V In First-Person Perspective
PC Master Race has always been flaunting its gazillion mods, considering them one of the chief reasons of preferring a PC over consoles. There is certainly no doubt that a console can never compete with a PC when it comes to modding, however, a console-modder XBLToothPik would like to disagree on a few points.
Now that Grand Theft Auto V has been announced for PC [along with Xbox One and PlayStation 4], people are expecting all sorts of mods; the likes of which can be witnessed in Skyrim, GTA IV, and Watch_Dogs. Months ahead of GTA V PC release, XBLToothPik has discovered a way of playing GTA V in first-person perspective on an Xbox 360.
The game sure looks good in the first-person perspective and the modder was kind enough to showcase on-foot, in-car, in-speedboat, in-aircraft, and different sorts of camera angles. Moreover, I couldn’t help noticing ‘Flying Mod’ at the end of the video, indicating that there might be more than what we saw.
I’m guessing that there is still some work to be done as you’ll notice some out of the shape textures popping-up, especially during running and gunning.
I’m aware that a lot of people are craving to get this, but such scripts can only be run on a modified Xbox 360 (preferably on an RGHed or JTAGed console). And while many people tend to take the risk, it is never safe to potter with things, you don’t understand as it can get your console banned from Xbox Live.
Console community has always seen smaller mods including Unlimited Ammo, God Mode, Infinite Stamina, Higher Jumps, or changing your character’s appearance, but this is something extra-ordinary and can open up new horizons for the gameplay experience.
Furthermore, those of you who don’t know, PC community have already seen such kinds of mods in Grand Theft Auto IV.
GTA V is slated to launch across Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC later this year.
