Sniper Elite 3 Xbox One Version to Receive 10GB Day One Patch
Sniper Elite 3 is going to hit the shelves in just a few days and Rebellion has revealed that the game’s release on Xbox One will have a day one patch that will take up to 10GB of the hard disk storage.
Here’s what Rebellion has to say about this huge day one patch:
The main part of the update is to sync data between the game’s retail discs and the Xbox Live digital download edition of the game. In the several weeks between sending the code off to manufacture and release, rather than sit around or take a break, we’ve continued to work on the game, making improvements and optimizations.
This update will also help the game work on 1080p on the console, however, frames per second were not discussed by the developer.
Moreover, it will help cut the hard drive space required for the installation for original game, patches and upcoming DLCs.
Other platforms will also receive a day one patch for Sniper Elite 3, but it will not be as large as the one for Xbox One.
The game will contain gameplay elements of previous installments in the series as players will be able to see the whole trajectory of their fired bullets until they end up in the enemy’s body.
Sniper Elite 3 is scheduled to release for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on 1st of July in US while it will be released in Europe on 27th of June.
