Star Citizen Arena Commander Patch 12.3 Released, More Players Added to MP

Cloud Imperium Games has released yet another patch for Star Citizen Arena Commander to fix some major issues and add new content.

As of today, developer has decided to add more players in beta testing pool of multiplayer.

Previously, Arena Commander got delayed because it was not ready to be released just yet, but with a large number of fixes with this new update, it looks like that release is not that far away.

Now, the Arena Commander menu will be accessible in options menu and some players who were not getting right score for destroying enemies in Vanull Swarm will now receive it.

Animations of ship controls have been improved as well, as it now have smooth movements and Hornet Chaingun can now be used without any disrupted audio.

Another feature added to the game will allow you to see the body of your enemy after you have destroyed him in the battle.

In addition to these changes, new animations have been added to almost every aspect of the game, also, the items you use will no longer have any balancing issues.

Moreover, players who were experiencing bugs that were crashing their game, have also been fixed as now players will be able to play smoothly.

Following are some known issues even after the update:

  • HUD target indicator arrows can be missing
  • Graphical issues can occur while using SLI/Crossfire
  • It can be possible to sometimes load into a black screen when choosing an Arena Commander match
  • Hornet gatling guns take heat damage when not being fired
  • Hornet gatling gun ammo temporarily shown as missile racks in the Holo-Table
