Fans Want Halo: The Master Chief Collection on PC, Online Petition Launched
Although it is common knowledge that Halo is Microsoft’s premier system-seller but still, fans have initiated an online petition demanding Halo: The Master Chief Collection for PC.
Matthew Short from Arlington Heights, IL has initiated ‘Release Halo: The Master Chief Collection on PC’ at Change.org which reads:
Halo CE and 2 have been incredibly important but neglected PC titles. With Halo 2 for Vista’s multiplayer being shut down June 30th, it would be a shame for Halo 2 and especially the others to not be released on PC.
The initial target of the petition is to get 250,000 signatures; out of which 2,007 have been acquired at the time of writing this. Though I’m highly doubtful that it will work, still you can make your voice heard, here.
Online petitions barely affect a game’s release; still some folks are delusional enough to believe that titles like Dark Souls and Grand Theft Auto V eventually landed on PC, thanks to their online petitions. Anyway, it is a long way to reach 250K, let us see how it goes!
Announced by Microsoft at E3 2014, Halo: The Master Chief Collection is confirmed to feature HD remakes of the following titles exclusively for Xbox One.
- Halo: Combat Evolved
- Halo 2 Anniversary
- Halo 3
- Halo 4
All of these titles will run at 1080p with 60 Frames per Second on dedicated Xbox Live servers. Other novel features of Halo: The Master Chief Collection includes Halo 5: Guardians beta access and Halo Nightfall episodic series.
Priced at $59.99, Halo: The Master Chief Collection will release on Nov. 11, 2014.
