Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition Screenshots Show New Features
A new batch of screenshots have been released for the upcoming Ultimate Evil Edition of Diablo 3 for consoles.
The new shots give us a glimpse into some of the new features that will be appearing in the game, such as the Nemesis system that allows you to avenge the deaths of your friends.
One of the screenshots also shows us the in-game mailbox that will be helpful in sending items out to friends; while another shot gives us a peek at Trap Kills that host some kind of bonuses for players upon the use of environmental traps.
Players can utilize XP bonuses for a series of kills or speed bonuses depending on the time taken.
You can also check out the Apprentice mode in one of the pictures, where higher level players can invite their lower-level friends to a game and the latter can have themselves be raised to the former’s relative power.
Playing in multiplayer also gives bonus XP, gold and magical find. Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition is scheduled to release on August 19 for the PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.
As the name suggests, the Ultimate Evil Edition will include the Reaper of Souls DLC, as well as all previously released patches for the PC version. This is going to be the first time that Diablo 3 heads to the new consoles.
Earlier this month it was confirmed by Blizzard that Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition is being developed for the next-gen consoles to be able to play at native 1080p on PlayStation 4, while the Xbox One version will run at 900p, with both of them running at 60 frames per second.
